We're looking for caring individuals to open their homes and hearts to our adorable service dog puppies in training. You'll provide a loving and stable environment for 12-18 months, while teaching basic obedience skills and socialization.

What you'll do:

  • Shower a puppy with love and attention
  • Teach foundational commands (sit, stay, come, etc.)
  • Socialize the puppy in different environments (stores, restaurants, parks)
  • Attend puppy raiser training classes

Service dogs are trained to perform specific tasks to assist people with disabilities. Therapy dogs provide comfort and emotional support, but aren't trained for specific tasks.
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) only grants public access rights to service dogs.
