What is needed? A volunteer cashier is responsible for cashiering using our point-of-sale system, handling cash and credit card sales. The goal as cashier is to follow all procedures for the cashier position and be as accurate as possible with little to no overages or shortages. We are looking for cashiers that enjoy interacting with customers, are able to answer the phone as needed, mark sold items (to be picked up at a later date), and provide excellent customer service.
Interested? Inquire St. Vrain Habitat for Humanity's Volunteer Services Team, at volunteer@stvrainhabitat.org or call 303-682-2485 x116.
Habitat for Humanity is committed to creating a more compassionate and just world, bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We appreciate all our volunteers at Habitat for Humanity and recognize that we only better with your help!

Mission Statement
Since 1988, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has been building simple, decent, affordable homes for those in need throughout our community. The mission of Habitat for Humanity is "to put God’s love into action, bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope."
Description
Based in Longmont, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has built 120 homes locally. Our homes are sold to qualified family partners at cost with a no-profit mortgage. As homeowners repay their mortgage, the funds are invested into building more homes for deserving families. We select homeowner families based on their need for adequate shelter, their ability to pay for a Habitat home, and their willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity, including taking financial and homeownership classes. All homeowners contribute "sweat equity"; they work in partnership with the affiliate and other volunteers, contributing up to 500 hours of volunteer service.
