Our Volunteer Guardians serve as Guardian of Person to a resident of Clark County nursing home who no longer has the capacity to make informed decisions and has no one to advocate for them. Training and support are provided. This is an opportunity to make a difference in the life of someone who would otherwise have no one looking out for them.

Providing more than 30 programs and services for our 4,000+ members and 3,000+ clients, USS is proud to be a comprehensive center for services, activities, information, and resources.
Founded in 1968 as Elderly United, the State of Ohio has designated USS as the focal point for older adults in Clark County for 56 years.
The founders of USS instilled a deep and profound culture of honoring and caring for older adults that endures still. It is a mission that resonates more today than our founders could have imagined.
