Join Our Team as a Volunteer Video Producer for 2024 TAIWANfest!

Are you passionate about crafting compelling stories through video? We're looking for a talented Volunteer Video Producer to join our TAIWANfest team.

Position Overview:

As a Volunteer Video Producer, you'll work closely with our Artistic Director and Design Team to film, edit, and produce engaging video content for the festival. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or individuals passionate about videography and video editing to build their portfolio and contribute to a meaningful cultural event.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture high-quality video footage of TAIWANfest events and activities.
  • Plan, set up, and operate camera equipment during shoots.
  • Ensure proper lighting and sound recording for each shoot.
  • Edit video footage to create compelling final products, including cutting and splicing clips, adding transitions, effects, sound, and music.
  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director to understand the vision and goals for each video project.
  • Maintain and organize video equipment and files.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with video recording equipment and techniques.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for capturing and editing engaging visuals.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
