Mystic Tea is a special monthly event that provides a safe and welcoming place for the LGBTQ members of our senior community to build peer support and share with each other. The participants may enjoy the meal served, but it is the company that keeps folks coming back, month after month and year after year. The "tea" includes coffee, tea, and a hearty meal, but more importantly, good company and conversation.
Time commitment: Mystic Tea is held on the third Tuesday of the month from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Mystic Valley Elder Services' office in Malden. Mystic Tea Assistantsare needed to help set up for the event, serve food and beverages, and clean up after the event.
