This is a purely volunteering role. Preferably, volunteers should be based in Lagos, Nigeria.

As a web or application developer, you will be expected to:

  1. Develop and oversee the end to end develop,ent of websites and applications aligned with the organization's mission and objectives.
  2. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in web and app development.
  3. Drive innovation by proposing and implementing new features, functionalities and user experience.
  4. Work closely with design teams to ensure usercentric design prionciples are incorporated into all digital solutions.
  5. Conduct regular code interviews, ensuring best practices and high quality standards.

Our vision is to be Africa’s leading organization, providing technology-driven knowledge and skills solution for youthful relevance. We do this by discovering, developing and deploying talents and skills. Our purpose is to encourage creativity, promote formal education and stir skills acquisition.
We have had several programs in the past such as Create 1.0, Lockdown Master Class series, Create Initiative Independence Creativity challenges (CIIDCC 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0), World Youth Skill Day (WYSD 1.0, 2.0), Africa Kids Coding, Advantage Conference, Teens’ Life School Visit and Replicate.
