ORGANIZATION: Boys & Girls Club of Rochester

The Boys and Girls Club of Rochester, MN, is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist in our kitchen. Volunteers will play a crucial role in supporting our meal program by helping with dishes and serving food to the children. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in our community.

Shift Times:

  • Breakfast: 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM
  • Lunch: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
  • Snack: 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and snacks.
  • Help with the setup and cleanup of the dining area.
  • Wash dishes and ensure kitchen cleanliness.
  • Maintain a sanitary and organized kitchen environment.
  • Interact positively with children and staff members.

Qualifications:

  • A positive attitude and a desire to help children.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety practices (training will be provided).
