Work towards your SERVICE HOURS with Ohio Living Hospice. Not only will you fulfill your service hour requirements, but you’ll be making a huge difference in the life of a hospice patient and their family.
There are many different opportunities to volunteer in hospice, but the most common need is for companionship, one-on-one visits with hospice patients. Often the most important thing a volunteer can do is just "be there" for patients, to reassure them they are not alone, to hold a hand, or to just listen.
We will work around your schedule, and it is up to you how many hours you want to spend volunteering. We don't have a set schedule; you can visit patients at your convenience. We serve hospice patients all around Central Ohio, in nursing facilities and in their homes.
We require that all our volunteers to have a background check, drug screen and a 2-step TB test. All of this is done free-of-cost to you.
WELCOME TO THE TEAM!
