Entrepreneurship coaches are needed for the upcoming school year from October 2024 - April 2025.

About the Opportunity : Change the life of a young person by becoming a coach in the Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) High School Entrepreneurship program. In this program, students create and fully develop their own product or service while also discussing foundational business topics. As a coach, your role is to work with students in their class to help them learn the material you either co-teach and present through lectures and activities, or consult with each student team and help them apply it to their product or service. You will have access to the curriculum and materials needed for the days you are in class. Coaching occurs on school grounds, during Entrepreneurship class periods, either one-time or monthly.

The Volunteer Role : Coaches are knowledgeable subject matter experts guiding the student teams in certain areas of their project. We will provide you with guidelines and curriculum to help you co-teach or consult a specialty area to your student teams.

Requirements : Business expertise is necessary in order to best instruct and advise the student teams. This includes, but is not limited to, a background in topics such as entrepreneurship, finance, and/or marketing. To ensure the safety of our students, mentor candidates should be residents of Lee or Collier County (whether year-round or seasonal residency).
