Role Description

This is a remote volunteer role for a passionate and skilled Instructional Designer. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing and designing engaging and effective learning materials for Un/Do Mindset's emotional resilience and well-being programs. This is a great opportunity to practice your skills, add to your portfolio and make a difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Design instructional materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, presentations, and assessments.

  • Develop engaging learning activities and interactive multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience.

  • Apply instructional design principles and best practices to create effective and accessible learning materials.

  • Incorporate feedback to iterate and improve the quality of learning materials.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure alignment of instructional materials with organizational goals and standards.

  • Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in instructional design and e-learning technology.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or educational technology.

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning theories, as well as youth and adult learning principles.

  • Proficiency in using instructional design software and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia and Vyond).

  • Experience in the field of education

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and remotely
