Role Description
This is a remote volunteer role for a passionate and skilled Instructional Designer. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing and designing engaging and effective learning materials for Un/Do Mindset's emotional resilience and well-being programs. This is a great opportunity to practice your skills, add to your portfolio and make a difference.
Responsibilities:
Design instructional materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, presentations, and assessments.
Develop engaging learning activities and interactive multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience.
Apply instructional design principles and best practices to create effective and accessible learning materials.
Incorporate feedback to iterate and improve the quality of learning materials.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure alignment of instructional materials with organizational goals and standards.
Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in instructional design and e-learning technology.
Qualifications:
Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or educational technology.
Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning theories, as well as youth and adult learning principles.
Proficiency in using instructional design software and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia and Vyond).
Experience in the field of education
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
