The main objectives of Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers is to reduce the crime rate in the Pikes Peak region - El Paso and Teller Counties, help law enforcement agencies solve crimes, and bring fugitives to justice.
Volunteers contribute to making our community a safer place to live and work by processing crime tips and forwarding information to appropriate law enforcement agencies.

The Community Advancing Public Safety (CAPS) Program is an exciting community-wide effort that engages volunteers in a public safety partnership with the City’s Police and Fire Departments and the Pikes Peak Regional Office of Emergency Management. While volunteers have been an integral part of daily operations throughout the police department for over forty years, CAPS catapulted the program to unsurpassed levels of success and unparalleled accomplishments.
