Help volunteer for Queeridescence: A Polychromatic Soiree! at the History Colorado Center on June 14th. We have a variety of roles available including day of set-up, event support and chaperones, and event breakdown.

Location: History Colorado Center, 1200 Broadway, Denver, CO 80203.

Role/Shift Preference

Volunteers may sign up for multiple shifts. We have a variety of roles for this event including:

1. Set-up and Decorations - Day of Event, June 14th Some tasks you will be helping us with are table, chair, and decoration set up. Volunteers need to be able to lift at least 30-50 lbs. Be able to bend, crouch, use a ladder, and walk up and down the stairs.)
   • 12-3 pm
   • 3-6 pm
2. Event Support - June 14th, 6-10pm supporting AT the event We are looking for volunteers who are of the LGBTQIA+ community or allies to help us support registration and check-in, support or running activities, and enjoy the event!
3. Event Chaperones- Thursday June 14th, 6-10pm supporting AT the event Chaperones will "float" as non-invasive chaperones to make sure that all guests remain in designated event space and act appropriately.
4. Event Breakdown - Thursday 14th 10pm-11pm Volunteers will help us return the museum back to its stately glory. This will involve breaking down tables and chairs, clearing decorations, tidying and loading up decorations for the event.

(About the event: This is a 13+ event that embraces the full spectrum of self-expression. Walk, pose, dance, play, craft, draw, write, and be in community. Aspiring Drag Queens & Kings can sign up to walk the runway! Learn LGBTQ+ history, take part in a trivia game, and more - there will be activities happening all night!)
