Idaho seniors need you! Volunteer Ombudsman positions are available throughout the state of Idaho. You can volunteer at a facility near your location. An ombudsman is a person who advocates for people living in assisted living and nursing homes. Ombudsman can also investigate concerns and problems in long-term care. People of all backgrounds are welcome to volunteer,we will provide you with the necessary training for this role.
The ideal Ombudsman:
Is above all, compassionate. Has good communication skills, tenacity, and a desire to help others. Can complete online training, pass a background check, is willing to volunteer at least 3 hours a month.
