Since 2020, Aging Out Institute has been publishing a podcast series titled Preparing Foster Youth for Adulting in which we interview organizations around the country to discuss strategies for supporting youth who are transitioning out of foster care. We publish an average of two podcasts per month, each about 45 minutes in length. We are seeking a volunteer with audio editing experience (and software) who can quickly and effectively combine the MP3 files (music, interviewer, and interviewees) and improve the end product, such as removing unwanted background noise, repetitive pause phrases like um and uh, and pauses so that the conversation sounds natural and clean. We anticipate that this volulnteer work would require approximately 8 hours each month. We need someone who would be available to turn around a podcast product in less than five days after receiving the audio files.
