Post It Love is a 501(c)(3) organization that uplifts and encourages elementary students with handwritten notes of encouragement. Post It Love currently has 600+ volunteers nationwide, 5 partnering school districts, and 30,000+ Post It Love notes. Post It Love needs your help to continue the progress of uplifting students!
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Discord Server Setup We need tech-savvy individuals to help us set up and customize our Discord server. This includes creating channels, setting permissions, integrating bots, and optimizing the server for our community's needs.
- Onboarding and Orientation We're looking for friendly, organized volunteers to help onboard new members to our community. This involves welcoming new members, explaining our mission and guidelines, answering questions, and helping them get involved in our various initiatives.
- Community Management We need proactive, empathetic volunteers to help manage our community on an ongoing basis. This includes moderating conversations, encouraging engagement, resolving any issues that arise, and helping to plan and execute community events and activities.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Discord (for server setup and management roles)
- Ability to be patient, understanding, and tactful in guiding others
- Passion for building supportive, positive online communities
- Reliable and able to commit at least 3-5 hours per week

Post It Love aims to provide uplifting emotional support for students through weekly handwritten notes offering words of encouragement and affirmation. Our letters remind youth they are cared for and capable, nurturing perseverance and resilience. While many nonprofits offer financial help, we provide the equally crucial emotional backing students need to reach their potential.
Grounding our approach is the belief that uplifted, empowered students unlock their drive to create promising futures. Despite backgrounds, all children deserve to feel loved, valued, and fully supported throughout their education. Post It Love envisions learning environments where every student has the encouragement required to flourish.
By writing and delivering personalized notes, we bridge emotional gaps plaguing underserved youth. Our objective is facilitating environments for students of all means to thrive.
