Description:

Redford Interfaith Relief (RIR) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clerical Volunteer, Thursday and Friday 9:30AM-2:30PM. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of respectfully serving all people in need while gaining valuable experience in an administrative setting.

Responsibilities:

· Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

· Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

· File and organize paperwork and documents according to established systems.

· Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.

· Provide general administrative support as needed, including photocopying, scanning, and emailing documents.

· Collaborate with staff members to ensure smooth operation of office activities.

Qualifications:

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

· Proficiency in basic computer skills.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Willingness to learn and take direction from staff members.

Redford Interfaith Relief is a faith-based coalition, in collaboration with community partners and volunteers that respectively serves and empowers all people in need in the Redford Community by assisting with basic food, clothing and referrals.

Description

Redford Interfaith Relief is a client choice food pantry in the Redford Community, We serve over 750 families last year in the Redford Community and we could not have done it without our Volunteers. Our Volunteers are the heartbeat to this orgniaztion and we would love for you to Volunteer with Redford Interfaith Relief
