The Plano Conservancy for Historic Preservation is seeking a volunteer Treasurer/Board member to begin this fall!
The Treasurer's responsibilities include:
- Serving as a Board member for the Plano Conservancy for Historic Preservation
- Reviewing the CPA's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Summarizing financial reports for Board meetings
- Reviewing expenditures, budgets, and other expenses
- Running monthly payroll
- Developing quarterly reports for the city Heritage Commission

The Plano Conservancy for Historic Preservation, Inc., a Texas corporation 501 (c)(3) non-profit, is an organization dedicated to promoting civic pride in the past, to increasing preservation awareness through education and public outreach, and to providing financial assistance to protect and preserve our heritage resources for this and future generations.
Description
While daily seeking new ideas and avenues to pursue that enhance the Interurban Museum, The Conservancy has been very successful in offering education programs to all ages, sponsoring an annual city wide archaeology dig; National Preservation Week activities; and undertaking an ongoing oral history program, as well as providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors interested in the preservation field.
