We are looking for volunteers from all backgrounds and cultures. Our volunteers may work directly with patients or indirectly in an office/administrative/creative type setting. We pride ourselves in providing the best care and companionship to our patients. You can use your skills and interest as you volunteer as a vet to vet volunteer, musical thereapy, giving patients a spiritual presense. We have compainionship and caregiver relife volunteers who will read, sing to, play games with, or just sit with our patients. We also provide Legacy projects to our patients and their familes.

Description

AccentCare strives to provide excellence in end-of-life care for patients and their familes. AccentCare has developed several specialty roles, which allow volunteers to utilize their own strengths and interests. This offers a meaningful and rewarding volunteer experience, and enhances the quality of life for our patients and families. AccentCare is always looking for caring and dependable individulas who are interested in giving their time to patient care and/ or willing to assist in the office with administrative duties. Involement in this program can be beneficial for both our hospice patients and volunteers. AccentCare perceives Volunteers as an essential part of the hospice team.
