Mission Statement

We support the holistic needs of individuals and families at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness. Housing is our starting point. Seeing people thrive is our finish line.

Description

Everyone Home DC is a vibrant, non-sectarian 501(c)(3) organization that provides services to homeless and vulnerable individuals and families on Capitol Hill and across the District of Columbia. Everyone Home DC serves thousands of men, women, and children each year through our Shirley’s Place Day Hospitality Center, Street Outreach to chronically homeless individuals, and Rapid Rehousing and Permanent Supportive Housing Programs for families. Our Family Homelessness Prevention Program provides mediation, flexible financial assistance, and connection to additional support services in order to help families at imminent risk of homelessness avoid having to enter the shelter system. Through our Community Engagement program, we build relationships with concerned DC residents, connecting them to our volunteer opportunities and collaborating with them, as well as policy makers and peer organizations, to advocate for proven strategies to prevent and end homelessness.
