The Caribbean Currents Festival will be held June 29, 2024, at Roosevelt Park, 1615 9th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 from 12 noon to 6 pm. The festival will showcase the beauty and diversity of the Caribbean Islands and its people. The Caribbean Curents Festival seeks to create a family-friendly, open-air, opportunity for Sacramentands to see, hear, taste, learn, and experience Caribbean cultures. One Love is our overarcing motto and respect for one another is our mode of operatation.

The Caribbean Basin Institute for Education and Culture will engage in educational seminars, public performances and people-to-people exchanges to support the development of education and cultural understanding and appreciation of the Caribbean Islands and its indigenous peoples.
Description
Our Vision is to promote cultural understanding and appreciation of the Caribbean Islands and their indigenous peoples. The CB Institute uses culture, music, art, and education to expose Americans to Caribbean cultures and vice versa to inspire mutual understanding and respect and draw connections between our cultures to enhance peace and love in our society.
