Do you believe all children deserve access to a bright future?
Little Scientists, a Zurich-based non-profit organization (NPO), is on a mission to make STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities accessible to all children in Switzerland, especially those facing challenges. We focus on girls, children from difficult economic backgrounds, refugees, and immigrants. We believe STEM and coding skills are crucial for future success, and every child should have the opportunity to develop them.
This is where you come in!
We're developing a special project for schools, offering free STEM and coding activities for kindergarten through 6th-grade classes. Our goal is to empower teachers with the confidence to integrate these exciting subjects into their curriculum from an early age. Schools are the perfect platform to bridge the gender and minority gap in STEM education.
But we can't do it without your help!
We're seeking passionate volunteers to join our fundraising team. You'll play a vital role in supporting, improving, and organizing campaigns that will make this project a reality.
Here's what you'll do:
- Assist with brainstorming and planning fundraising activities.
- Help research and identify potential donors and sponsors.
- Support with creating compelling marketing materials (flyers, social media posts).
- Assist with event coordination if needed (optional).
Why volunteer with Little Scientists?
- Make a real difference in the lives of children by ensuring equitable access to STEM education.
- Gain valuable experience in fundraising and non-profit development.
- Be part of a passionate team dedicated to building a brighter future.
- Have fun and connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for education.
Don't let this amazing opportunity pass you by!

Description
Little Scientists Empowers All Children Through Free STEM Activities
Little Scientists offers free, engaging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities in schools for children from kindergarten to 6th grade. Our goal is to bridge the gap in access to STEM education, especially for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, refugees, and immigrants. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover the exciting world of STEM and computer science.
Empowering Teachers, Inspiring Students
We empower teachers with the tools and knowledge they need to confidently integrate engaging STEM lessons into early childhood education. Schools are the perfect platform to create equal opportunities in STEM education, fostering a love of learning from a young age.
Beyond Schools: Partnering for Impact
Little Scientists doesn't stop at schools. We collaborate with companies to offer additional STEM workshops designed specifically for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, immigrants, and refugees.
