RGE Cares is seeking dedicated Assistant to support RGE Cares and our upcoming Summer Camp program. As a Volunteer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and enriching experience for campers. Your responsibilities will include assisting camp staff with organizing activities, supervising campers during outings, providing support with administrative tasks, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.

Responsibilities:
- Assist camp staff in organizing and implementing recreational, educational, and cultural activities for campers.
- Supervise and engage with campers during various camp activities, including outdoor games, arts and crafts, and field trips.
- Help set up and clean up activity areas before and after each session.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as registration, attendance tracking, and distributing supplies.
- Serve as a positive role model for campers by demonstrating enthusiasm, patience, and empathy.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, adhering to camp policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with camp staff, volunteers, and parents/guardians as needed.

Qualifications:
- Passion for working with children and youth from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality in attendance.
- Prior experience working or volunteering with youth camps or educational programs is a plus but not required.

Schedule:Volunteer Assistants will be needed during the RGE Cares Summer Camp program, which runs from July 1st to July 15th, 2024. Volunteers can choose to commit to specific days or the entire duration of the camp based on their availability. Daily shifts typically run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some flexibility depending on the camp's schedule.
