Ballet Gala Volunteer with Luminario Ballet

On Sunday, November 3rd Luminario Ballet hosts it's annual Gala Fundraiser and General Audience show!

1:00 PM Pre-event Volunteers assist in setting up check-in, Silent Auction, table decorations, and gift bags; then during the event, Volunteers check-in guests and guide them to their tables, stand by the Silent Auction tables to assist with bids, then when the Silent Auction is completed take donations via Square; strike the Silent Auction; help usher the general audience to their seats; enjoy watching the Luminario Ballet performance; and assist with strike at the end of the evening, around 9:30 PM.

We provide snacks, a light dinner, and a $20 parking stipend.

Luminario Ballet was founded in 2008 to represent the vibrance, diversity, artistic creativity, and technical excellence unique to Los Angeles here in Southern CA, across the US; and abroad. We perform contemporary and classical ballet en pointe, aerial dance, contemporary dance, dance theater, for stage, film, collaborations with other arts and music organizations... and...beyond. Although based in Los Angeles we have toured CA, NY, FLA, TX, and, look forward to sharing our unique SoCal brand across the US and the globe.

Luminario Ballet has performed the work of San Francisco Ballet's Michael Smuin; Lewitzky Dance Company; Stefan Wenta; and new choreography by artistic director Judith FLEX Helle ("LedZAerial", Schubert's "Winterreise"), Dreya Weber (PINK, CHER, Taylor Swift), Jamal Story (Complexions, Dance Theater of Harlem), Alexandre Magno (Ballet Hispanico), and Damien Diaz (Leipzig Opera Ballet, Ballet Trocadero).
