Community Cat Transport

We need volunteers to transport cats from Jacksonville, NC to Fix a Friend spay/neuter clinic near Wilmington. You would utilize our transport van and we pay for the gas. You must be able to lift 25lbs and transport up to 30 cats in one trip. We need pick up and drop off volunteers.

We are a nonprofit organization created to help build a community where animals are treated with respect and kindness. Our focus is protecting animals through education, advocacy and services. We strive to strengthen human understanding of animals needs, and to keep all animals safe and happy.
Description
North Carolina county shelters are able to provide basic needs for animals in their care. Funding and resources are scarce to support extra medical care that some animals need that enter the shelter system.
Paws 4 Purpose is here to help support local shelters and provide resources for extra care and medical needs by sponsoring heartworm treatments.
We also provide additional support to the local community by offering spay/neuter assistance; we do this to prevent unwanted animals from entering the shelter system.
In addition to our programs, we educate the public and provide community outreach for animals in our community that have not entered the shelter but live difficult lives outdoors.
