Summary

Brand Strategist reports directly to the President of Save the Water. You will provide recommendations to develop brand strategies as well as guide market research analysis to achieve company goals.

Description

· As a Brand Strategist, you are required to contribute a minimum of 08 hours per week.

· Must be willing to attend virtual meetings in the EST Time zone and be responsive to emails within 24 hours.

The Role:

Brand Strategist reports directly to the President of Save the Water. You will provide recommendations to develop brand strategies as well as guide market research analysis to achieve company goals.

What you will be responsible for:

· Brand Development: Develop and implement brand strategies and plans that align with the overall business objectives. This includes defining the brand's vision, mission, and core values and establishing brand positioning and differentiation in the market.

· Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape. This involves analyzing data and insights to identify opportunities and challenges and using them to inform brand strategy and decision-making.

· Brand Identity and Visuals: Define and manage the brand's visual identity, including logo design, color palette, typography, and other elements. You will ensure the brand's visual identity is consistent across all brand touchpoints, including marketing materials, packaging, website, and social media.

· Brand Messaging and Communication: Develop compelling and consistent brand messaging that resonates with the target audience and communicates the brand's value proposition. You will also create and manage brand communication materials, such as brand and voice guidelines and other marketing collateral.

· Brand Activation: Develop and execute brand activation plans to create awareness, engagement, and loyalty among the target audience. This includes planning and implementing brand campaigns, events, sponsorships, and other promotional activities to build brand equity and drive business results.

· Brand Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze brand performance, including brand awareness, perception, and sentiment. You will track and report on key brand metrics, conduct brand audits, and continuously use data and insights to optimize brand strategy and tactics.

· Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and development, to ensure brand consistency and alignment across the organization. This includes providing brand guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders and fostering a brand-centric culture within the organization.

Skills/Requirements:

· Experience developing marketing strategies.

· Data-driven thinking.

· Creativity.

· Communication and writing skills.

· BSc/MSc in Marketing or relevant field

· Work experience as a Brand Strategist or similar role in Marketing.

· A portfolio of brand-building projects is a plus.
