Envision Healthcare at Home is seeking volunteers who are interested in being friendly visitors to patients on hospice. Hospice patients are often lonely and enjoy having visits from volunteers on a regular basis. Volunteers often read books, watch movies, complete puzzles and go on short walks with their patients. Volunteers visit their patients on a regular basis once a week or every two weeks. Hospice patients live either in their own homes or in nursing or assisted living facilities.

Hospice volunteers receive a training over the computer, must pass a background check and need to get a TB skin test.
