Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Website Manager to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of our online platform. The Volunteer Website Manager will play a vital role in ensuring that our website serves as an effective tool for promoting our mission, engaging stakeholders, and facilitating connections between job seekers and employers in the NGO sector.

Responsibilities:
1. Website Maintenance:
- Regularly update website content, including job listings, news updates, and resources, to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Monitor website performance and address technical issues, such as loading speed, broken links, and mobile responsiveness.
- Conduct routine backups and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.

2. Content Management:
- Develop and publish compelling content, including blog posts, success stories, and impact reports, to showcase the work of Paul Half and its partners.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and attract organic traffic to the website.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between website content and organizational messaging and priorities.

3. User Experience (UX) Enhancement:
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to identify opportunities for improving website navigation, functionality, and design.
- Implement UX best practices to enhance the overall user experience and encourage visitor engagement and interaction.
- Conduct usability testing and gather insights to inform website optimization strategies.

4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including program managers, communications specialists, and IT staff, to coordinate website updates and projects.
- Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates on website activities, progress, and upcoming initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to volunteers or interns assisting with website-related tasks.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in website management, preferably in the nonprofit or NGO sector.
- Proficiency in web development languages and platforms, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla).
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices for driving online engagement and visibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and mission-driven environment.
- Passion for social impact and a desire to contribute to the mission of Paul Half and its partner organizations.
