Learn to Be is a tutoring organization that helps underserved communities. You can choose which subjects, grade levels, ages, days, and times you would like to tutor. Learn to Be has been helping people since 2008 while staying completely online. This means that you can tutor from your own home.
The application process is simple. There are general questions about yourself (name, email, date of birth, etc.) that you must fill out. Afterward, there is a free response question in which you explain why you are interested in joining Learn to Be. Lastly, there is a selfie video where you record a video with your face. You answer questions about yourself in the video. If you get accepted, you can pick a student (or students) to tutor!

We've been around since 2008 and since then, our volunteer tutors have helped students from low-income households and foster organizations excel in subjects ranging from basic math and reading comprehension to chemistry and precalculus.
