Overview: We are seeking a responsible and vigilant individual to join our team as a Student Chaperone. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of students during outings and activities. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to remain calm and composed in various situations. Individuals must pass background check screenings.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and chaperone students during school outings, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for students at all times.
• Anticipate and mitigate potential risks or hazards during outings.
• Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Act as a mentor and role model, instilling values of responsibility and empathy in students.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding safety procedures and expectations.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies that may arise.
• Ensure all students adhere to school policies and procedures during outings.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
