Kentucky Refugee Ministries is partnering with Refugee Connect to host Northern Kentucky's first ever World Refugee Day Celebration on Saturday, June 15th.
World Refugee Day is an internationally recognized day to recognize and celebrate both the strength and resilience of refugees around the world and the cultural richness and diversity that they bring to our communities. This event will be held from 11am-3pm at Goebel Park in Covington. The event will include kids activities, food, arts, music, and will finish with a recognition of the nations represented in Northern Kentucky and a mayoral proclamation from Mayor Meyer.
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities for this event. After expressing interest, you will be able to browse the positions and shifts available, and sign up. Thank you for your consideration!
