Join your fellow supporters and members of PFLAG San Antonio, as we march down Main St., for this year's Pride SA- PRIDE Parade.
We will supply water and some snacks- but dress comfortably, especially your shoes- lots of standing and walking.
If you have a PFLAG T-shirt- please wear it- if not- Purple is popular.
The line-up for the parade will be in the San Antonio college area- near Dewey and Manin ST in those neighborhoods. Out exact meeting location there, will be determined closer to the event- and all those who sign up will be given meet location and any current info known.
The line up will start around 7 PM- but depending on our spot in the parade- will determine how long the wait and completion time is.
(for example- two years ago, we were in the first group- started around 9:30 and finished by 11pm; last year we were in a later group- that did not start marching until till1030pm and finished close to midnight).

Description
PFLAG San Antonio, is a local chapter of the nonprofit, Parents, Families and Allies United with the LGBTQ+ community. We celebrate our national anniversary of 0 years next year nationally, and almost 30 years in San Antonio.
We are seeking Board members, to assist with a few roles. Admin (Secretary), sponsorships and Advocacy.
As board member you are expected to attend 9 support meetings a year ( one held each month) and will receive training from tenured Board members.
We have a mission to support LGBTQ+ folks, and their families and allies, offering peer support meetings to help in trying times.
We also have educational programs, like presentations by community organizations, as well as attending events in the community to educate on resources.
We also advocate for equality for LGBTQ+ folks and their families.
