Title/position: Office Volunteer

• Provide office support at our office in Midlothian
• Make phone calls to patients and families

Time commitment: Currently there are not any time commitments.

Qualifications and requirements: Familiarity with end-of-life care is a plus but not a must. Orientation is approximately 2 hours and is all online. You need to have a passion for helping others who just need someone to listen to them or be there for them. Must preserve confidentiality of client identity and information. Background Checks and TB Screening are required, which are all paid for by Affinity Care Hospice & Palliative Care.

Benefits: You can make a difference in the lives of patients who are going through the final stages of their life. You will also be a comfort to the family knowing their loved one has someone visiting with them and making sure they are not alone.
