A little about our organization: Companis is a nonprofit that matches skilled volunteer workers with other nonprofits in need. We are the safety net for the safety nets. We work with small nonprofits which serve our most vulnerable neighbors and make our community stronger. We feel honored to make these connections.
Current Need: A local Edmonds nonprofit working to protect, preserve, and display the local history of south Snohomish county is looking for a volunteer to assist with redesigning and updating their webpage. Depending on skills and experience, this 2-6 month project would be done in cooperation with the active and engaged board. Nearly all work can be done remote with periodic check-ins (online or in-person) with points of contact. This project will help this small museum greatly expand its reach in the community as well as working to attract new eyes and fresh perspectives to this local gem.
For the volunteer: Companis supports prospective volunteers by finding the ideal fit for their time, energy, skills, and interests. We pride ourselves in working to ask the right questions and listen deeply to determine the best fit for all involved.

Description
Companis has worked in Snohomish and King counties for nearly 30 years to match passionate volunteers with local nonprofit agencies in need. We ask the right questions and listen deeply to determine the right fit for both volunteer and agency.
As part of the Companis placement, you will meet with a Companis Program Manager to share your interests, skill sets, availability, and experience. The program manager will share additional information about available roles, local nonprofit agencies, and Companis expectations and training. Companis' goal is to find the right match for both our volunteer worker and the agency to ensure that you are supported the entire way!
