ORGANIZATION: Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Wacky Hat Work Party! Wear your silliest, frilliest, craziest hat! Learn how we manage a small organic farm in the summer. Enjoy the sunshine and blooms of the season!

Farm at Water’s Edge is a certified organic farm providing our community with seasonal, fresh produce on a donation only basis. It also serves as an education tool for students and demonstrates how responsible, sustainable agriculture can coexist with salmon habitat. This is a great opportunity to support this community resource, as well as ask any of your garden questions to our knowledgeable staff and participating volunteers!

Volunteers can expect to help us weed, harvest, remove invasive species, turn compost, and/or plant in the garden. Please remember to check the weather before you come. We recommend wearing closed toed shoes, sun protection and bringing a water bottle.

This a great opportunity for all! Individuals, friends, families and kids. See you on the Farm!
