It's that time of year again! We will be hosting our 3rd Annual Summer Kick-Off Carnival on June 15th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm in our parking lot on Tschache Lane. That's right, it's on a Saturday this year! So save the date, and get ready for a day full of giant inflatables, a dunk tank, games, prizes, and food donated from Town & Country and grilled by the one and only XL Country hosts, Derek and Megan!

**All volunteers will be required to wear closed toed shoes, weather appropriate clothes, to bring a water bottle/snacks, and your carnival spirit!**

Mission Statement

Family Promise of Gallatin Valley in Montana is a non-profit network of diverse faith organizations working together as the only organziation helping Gallatin Valley's homeless families with children. Each congregation provides shelter and meals, while each family is assisted by our executive director, a professional social worker, in finding and implementing lasting solutions to their unique situation. Based on a national program , FPGV is over 80% successful, getting families into stable housing and effective employment.

Description

Family Promise of Gallatin Valley currently has 9 host congregations that rotate throughout the year, and 9 partner congregations. Our volunteers not only provide food and shelter, but also the supportive environment that is needed for our guest families to get back on their feet. With the help of our executive director, the families work to develop a savings plan, find stable employment, and find permanent housing. After leaving the program, our guest families receive follow up help and have the support of the network of friends that they have made during their time with Family Promise.

Although we are a faith-based program, we believe in putting our faith into action, not words. Proselytizing is strictly forbidden and guests need not attend any religious activities to receive services.

Volunteers do not need a religious affiliation to be involved. All that is required is a desire to help our less fortunate neighbors.
