Position Overview:
Symptone is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our team. The Grant Writer will play a critical role in securing funding to support our programs and initiatives. This position involves researching grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals, and collaborating with various team members to ensure the successful submission of grant applications.

Responsibilities:

* Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
* Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and applications.
* Work closely with the CEO and other team members to gather necessary information and data for grant submissions.
* Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submission of applications.
* Develop and manage relationships with funding organizations and donors.
* Track and report on the progress of submitted grants and follow up as necessary.
* Assist in developing budgets and financial reports for grant applications.
* Maintain accurate records of all grant applications, proposals, and funding received.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in grant writing, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
* Strong research skills and ability to identify relevant funding opportunities.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with the healthcare and medical education sectors is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.
