SouthernCare Hospice provides exceptional care, but we also enhance our services with the help of trained volunteers. We are looking for American Veterans that would like to sit and visit with patients in area facilities that are veterans like yourself. You have alot to share, just chatting, listening or even watching tv. You are a tribute to our hospice and the support that we offer our patients.

Visiting a patient for an hour or two twice a month or more makes a difference in our patients health. Your visits give them something to look forward to.

Our volunteers choose which patient the with to visit and we schedule the visits around your schedule. We serve patients in Columbiana County, Mahoning County and Trumbull County. We place volunteers in the areas that they reside, very little travel will be involved.

Our Veteran's also attend Veteran Coffee Hours at facilities and help with Veteran Pinning's. We honor our Veteran Patients upon admission with a small ceremony honoring their time in the service, keep our nation safe.
