The Volunteer Program: Grl Pwr LA is seeking enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Volunteerss to support our Digital Marketing Team in: brand development, strategy implementation, and marketing campaigns to enhance brand engagement and fulfill our mission.

What You Will Learn: Scheduling, Posting, Creating Content for social media pages, Interpreting Performance Data and Writing Newsletters.

Position Qualifications

• Experience or Interest working with a non-profit organization
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently, and collaboratively with the executive director and the director of marketing
• Strong writing and organizational skills
• Willingness and ability to commit to a minimum of 2-5 hours per week

Position responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Marketing in strategic planning of content creation alongside the Digital Marketing team
• Develop a Content Calendar to plan out posts for social media, including Instagram and Tik Tok
• Create graphics for social media alongside the digital marketing team in Canva
• Engage our audience and community on social media while managing social media accounts
• Maintain data analytics under the direction of the Executive Director and Director of Marketing to develop new strategies for increasing engagement
