Please visit the new page to apply.
Mentoring Plus, a local non-profit organization that focuses on finding mentors for at-risk teens, is looking for a few regular volunteers willing to drive our organization's van on Monday evenings to pick up and then drop off teens around the area so that they are able to attend our program. Volunteers would need to submit to a background check and would be able to stay for a free meal each shift! Contact Jess at Jess@mentoringplus.org or 859-462-4152. Thank you for considering helping our kids!

Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower disadvantaged youth and their families to fulfill their potential and to contribute to the well-being of the community by forming relationships based on mutual trust, compassion, and respect.
Description
Beginning with a vision to serve the most needy with top quality care and services, Mentoring Plus was founded in April of 2009 by several lifelong residents of Northern Kentucky. Through careful planning, proven methods and a lot of prayer, we have grown to where we are today.
We remain as committed as ever to establishing local partnerships that serve Northern Kentucky area teens and their families, promoting healing, cultivating personal growth and encouraging healthy and productive community involvement.
No other program in Kentucky gives high risk youth such a proven opportunity for positive change.
Mentoring Plus follows a proven methodology to help teens overcome the obstacles they face and turn them into opportunities through life coaching, spiritual guidance and family support. We don’t take our program lightly - its design is evidenced-based and formed from best practices. Most importantly, everyone’s situation is unique, so each teen’s needs are addressed individually, in accordance with our three-step process.
