The Children’s Legacy Garden, a unique children’s garden plays a crucial role in our mission's realization. Cultivated and harvested by our youth, crops grown in the garden not only foster youth development but also serve a vital purpose in the community. By providing fresh produce to seniors, veterans, and families, we address food insecurity and promote health and well-being in our community. Harvest is shared with senior citizens, veterans and underserved families. To date we have harvest over 1,976lbs. of fresh produce.
Volunteer Opportunity: Service Day at the Children's Legacy Garden
Join us for a fulfilling and fun-filled Service Day at the Children's Legacy Garden! We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us maintain and beautify this special community space.
As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in nurturing our garden and ensuring it remains a vibrant and welcoming space for all. Tasks include planting, weeding, mulching, and general garden maintenance. No prior gardening experience is necessary-just bring your passion for the outdoors and community service!

Sharing the Love Foundation exposes youth to opportunities that encourage and develop civic leadership and social responsibility.
Description
Purpose: to increase social responsibility in youth by providing a platform for them to empower their talents, interests, and resources to address current community-based concerns and needs.
Goals: Create an environment that embraces diversity, prioritizes community service, encourages the pursuit of higher education and increases personal and social growth opportunities of youth.
Impact: STLF promotes positive outcomes for young people by providing development opportunities, fostering positive relationships, and furnishing the support needed to build on their leadership strengths. Through our progressive, multi-year programming, we empower youth to become informed and engaged members of their communities.
