Are you and some friends searching for a volunteer opportunity to take you outside in the beautiful Colorado sunshine or a chance to make a tangible difference in one of our classrooms? If so, we need your help!
Our playgrounds & classrooms need to be maintained on a regular basis in order to ensure safety for all of our kiddos. We are always looking for small groups of at least 3 people who are willing to step up and help us paint equipment, garden, fluff and fill pea gravel, wood chips and distribute sand at multiple locations. If you’re up to the task and would like to help do on an ongoing or even one-time basis, we would love to host your group.
Solo Volunteers 14+ and combination Adult/Child Volunteer groups are welcome!
Too busy to come in during the week? We accommodate weekend shifts too!
Help us bring a smile to the faces of our children and staff by giving their classrooms and playgrounds the love they deserve.
Contact Nikki Sylvester, Volunteer Coordinator, at niksyl@cpcd.org or call 719-884-1401 for more information. To apply, just visit our website at www.cpcdheadstart.org/volunteer.

Mission Statement
CPCD prepares children for success in school and life by providing excellent comprehensive early childhood services in partnership with diverse families and the community.
Description
CPCD is committed to the comprehensive early childhood development model, which is at the basis of its successful Head Start and Early Head Start programs. CPCD serves just under 2,000 prenatal through five-year-old at-risk, low-income and special needs children and their families. We operate classrooms in six school districts. Our two generation approach provides parents with education, services and training to help them be their child's first and best teacher. Community volunteers 12 and older join us year round to change the lives of our most vulnerable citizens.
