This volunteer position includes requesting and securing grant funding. The successful candidate will be able to craft funding proposals in a clear and compelling manner. Excellent writing, analytical, research, and critical thinking skills are essential.
Candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in using online databases and other sources to locate biographical, financial, and philanthropic information.
Candidates must possess the ability to seek and synthesize information as well as communicate in a compelling and succinct form. This volunteer position is an excellent opportunity to learn about and break into the nonprofit field.
