About Us: Happy Life Animal Rescue is dedicated to finding loving homes for dogs and cats in need. Our mission relies heavily on raising awareness and engaging the community through effective marketing. We are looking for a creative and motivated Volunteer Marketing Assistant to help spread the word about our mission and promote our events and fundraisers.

Position Summary: As a Volunteer Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting Happy Life Animal Rescue’s mission and activities. You will work closely with our team to create and implement marketing strategies that increase our visibility, attract volunteers and donors, and ensure the success of our events and fundraisers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote our rescue mission, events, and fundraisers.
• Create engaging content for our website, social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication channels.
• Help design promotional materials such as flyers, posters, and digital graphics.
• Manage and update our social media accounts with regular posts, stories, and event updates.
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to promote events like the Pawsitive Strides 5k Fundraiser.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in outreach activities to engage the community and build partnerships with local businesses and media outlets.

Requirements:

• Passion for animal welfare and commitment to Happy Life Animal Rescue’s mission.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity and an eye for design.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation.
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with graphic design tools and software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus but not required.
