About Us: Happy Life Animal Rescue is on a mission to provide loving forever homes to dogs and cats in need. Our success depends on the generosity and involvement of our community, and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Fundraising Team. By organizing creative fundraising campaigns and exciting events like our annual Pawsitive Strides 5k Fundraiser, you’ll help ensure we have the resources to save more lives.

Position Summary: As a Volunteer Fundraising Team Member, you will be an integral part of our efforts to raise vital funds for our rescue operations. Working alongside a passionate team, you will help plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of fundraising campaigns and events, both large and small. Your creativity and dedication will directly impact our ability to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome more animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in brainstorming, planning, and executing fundraising campaigns that inspire community involvement and support.
  • Help organize and manage events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale fundraisers like the Pawsitive Strides 5k.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop promotional materials, secure sponsorships, and engage with local businesses and donors.
  • Participate in outreach efforts to attract volunteers, participants, and donors for our campaigns and events.
  • Contribute to the creation of compelling stories and content that highlight the impact of our work and motivate donations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of fundraising activities, providing feedback and suggestions for future improvements.

Requirements:

  • Passion for animal welfare and a strong commitment to Happy Life Animal Rescue’s mission.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for developing new fundraising ideas.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Previous experience in fundraising, event planning, or marketing is a plus but not required.

We love nothing more than making those connections of finding our rescue's there forever home. We could use your help in fostering or volunteer at our events or help with fundraisin. You can help us to make a greater impact on homeless dogs or cats!!!
