Wish Upon a Wedding is a licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit which grants dream weddings and vow renewals for couples suffering from serious or terminal illness, or experiencing a life-altering health circumstance. We are holding our FIRST EVER fundraiser event, hosted by LaRue Events and The Midway Arches venue, on November 14, 2024, and are seeking donations and even sponsorships from local companies, businesses, and corporations. ALL PROCEEDS raised will go directly to our mission of serving those who need us. ALL VENDORS for the event are volunteering their time, energy, love, products, services, and expertise to our cause.

Mission Statement
Wish Upon a Wedding's mission is to grant weddings and vow-renewals to individuals facing a terminal or life-altering illness. We help couples alleviate the financial burden and time commitment that planning a wedding entails, focusing instead on dealing with their treatments and spending time with their loved ones. Due to their health-related circumstances, the couples we honor have endured far more significant challenges than many of us could imagine, and we aim to celebrate their love for one another.
Description
We recognize that the financial and emotional cost of a severe illness or a life-altering health circumstance can shift the priorities of a couple. When illness strikes, planning even a small wedding can feel like an impossible task.
As an organization committed to giving back to the community, we want to empower couples to continue living their life to the fullest. The best way we know how to do this is to put our wedding industry experience to support couples and take away the burden of planning and paying for their wedding or vow renewal.
Over the years, Wish Upon a Wedding has nurtured ties with individuals, wedding industry professionals, corporate sponsors, partners, and extraordinary Wish Granters. Our network of supporters has allowed us to grant more than 175 weddings/vow renewals to couples battling life-altering health circumstances through their generous donations.
