Orphans, Youth, Aged and Women Initiative (OYAWI) is a registered NGO in Kenya. The main aim of its establishment is to ensure self-reliance and sustainability among the vulnerable members of our society. OYAWI envisaged a community free of Poverty.
In this regard, OYAWI is seeking to recruit dedicated, self-motivated and persons of high integrity to work as volunteers. The volunteers shall focus on resource mobilization for our GREEN EMPOWERMENT PROJECT which address the effect of climate change on the vulnerable members, especially the youth and women. The volunteers can work virtually or in-person in the project area.

Description
Orphans, Youth, Aged and Women Initiative (OYAWI) was established in 2019 and registered in 2020 by NGO-Coordination Board of Kenya. Current members of Board of Directors include professionals in different fields of expertise. OYAWI operates in the counties of Nairobi, Kajiado, Siaya, Homa Bay and Kakamega. The main aim of its establishment is to empower the vulnerable members of the society to decide and participate in development activities in our areas of jurisdiction
The objective of our organization is to empower and boost all needy orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs), youth, elderly and women across communities to learn and understand their rights hence undertake income generating activities for self-sufficiency and sustainability.
Our Objectives
To promote economic empowerment among vulnerable community members.
To promote food security initiatives through agripreneurships.
To support education through enrollment and retention of learners into learning institutions.
