Southerncare Hospice does not only provide exceptional care, but we provide volunteers available to our patients and families to provide caregiver relief and companionship to our patients.
Visiting a patient for an hour-a week, twice a month, 4 times a month or even once a month makes a great difference to our patients. Conversations, music with could include playing the piano and singing to or with the patient, reading watching television together can brighten a patients day where it gives him or her something to look forward to.
Our volunteers choose which patient they wish to visit, we make visits easy and convenient for both our volunteers and our patients. We serve patients in Mahoning, Trumbul and Columbiana Counties.
We schedule visits around you personal availability.
