About Astrid Nonprofit

57 Herbert Wales Crescent, Markham, Ontario L6C0G4, CA

Mission Statement

Astrid Non-Profit addresses and discusses feminism in society, shedding light on issues such as inequality in women's rights, the culturally constructed role of women, stereotypes and more. Our main initiative is to educate people on feminism, support girls’ education rights and help young girls grow into strong women.

We mainly provide basic information on gender equity topics on our Instagram and magazine, and host community events to raise funds and give women a platform to speak up. Our 2023-launched team is taking off determined and passionate. Join us as we embark on our journey towards equality and ending discrimination! Up to date, we've reached 64k people and 30+ cities, published over 70+ pieces of work, 50+ working volunteers and 600+ monthly magazine readers. We hope to continue expanding and improving our magazine, webinars, chartering program and collaborations!
