Recruiting Organization: Northwest Railway Museum

Join the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie for our annualDay Out With Thomas event! Each year, the museum welcomes thousands of young rail fans and their families to meet Thomas the Tank Engine in person, experience the excitement of a working railroad, and enjoy themed activities at the historic Snoqualmie Depot and the Train Shed Exhibit Hall! Dates this year: Friday - Sunday, July 12-14; July 19-21; and July 26-28.

Volunteers assist with welcoming visitors, managing activity stations, and even with operating our train. Shifts vary, but are from 7:15 am to 7:15 pm for train crew and 8:00 am to 6:00 pm for grounds crew. The Museum provides lunch, water, and t-shirts. Join your community for this family fun event! These are great opportunities for students to complete service hours over the summer!

All volunteers must submit a volunteer application found at www.TrainMuseum.org or by contacting the Museum Volunteer & Program Coordinator. This must be done in advance of securing an event shift. Questions? Let us know!
