Vigil Volunteers Needed

ORGANIZATION: Ohio Valley Hospice

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 1 person is interested

Ohio Valley Hospice is seeking several volunteers who would be willing to sit vigil with patients in their final hours.
We believe no one should be alone during this time.

Volunteers interested in this should possess a calming, positive presence, as maintaining patient comfort during this time is necessary.

Volunteers may read to patients, play music, aromatherapy, singing, scripture reading, and more!

Entering into the world is just as important as exiting and we hope to make this the most comfortable transition for our patients.
